Neonatal RNC Review Course 2024
The Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC®) certification focuses on the care of high-risk neonates. The RNC-NIC certification demonstrates specialty knowledge for Neonatal ICU nurses who provide care to acutely and critically ill neonatal patients and their families within an intensive care environment. This course is for those interested in pursuing an RNC-NIC certification.
Certification Eligibility Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted nursing license in the U.S. or Canada.
- Minimum of two years (or 2,000 hours) of NICU experience.
- Employment history demonstrating 2,000 hours of patient care experience within the last 24 months.
The 2-day, virtual, course offers an extensive review of neonatal critical care practice. It covers topics such as high-risk antepartum/intrapartum maternal factors, physiologic changes during the transition to extrauterine life, and plans of care for major neonatal disorders. This intensive review course will equip neonatal nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the RNC-NIC certification exam. Whether you’re a first-time test-taker or renewing your certification, this course will enhance your understanding of neonatal care and boost your confidence in preparation for the exam.
Complimentary for Nemours Associates registering with their NCH email, and for those attending from outside organizations, a fee $120 will be collected at the time of registration.
