Pediatric Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: Infant Hip and Other Applications
This course will teach the diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologist, and orthopedic surgeon the essential elements of the hip examination technique and the role of hip sonography in the diagnosis and management of developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). Participants have the opportunity for hands-on experience performing infant hip and spine studies in our orthopedic clinic.
Hot Topics in Pediatrics
This three-day event will feature national leaders in the field of pediatrics providing evidence-based education and practical solutions for the primary care setting. This conference is intended for pediatric primary care physicians and all primary care providers and held annually at Walt Disney World® in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Pediatric Board Review and Clinical Update
This three-day course is designed to prepare attendees to excel in the pediatric board exam. Faculty utilize their clinical knowledge and training along with test prep questions to review each topic sharing their experience with the board exam along the way. The target audience is Residency Program Graduates, fellows, physicians, allied health professionals and nurses interested in a pre-board exam review. It is offered the first weekend after Labor Day annually.
DREAM IPC Conference | September 17-19, 2025
The Developing and Researching Advanced Models of Integrated Primary Care Conference serves as a platform for sharing cutting-edge clinical practices and research in pediatric integrated primary care (IPC). It brings together medical and behavioral health providers, researchers, and trainees interested in IPC to feature poster sessions, expert panels, and unique networking opportunities. This three-day conference is hosted biennially in Delaware.
Best Practices in Pediatric Trauma Care
The Best Practices in Pediatric Trauma Care program aims to prepare pediatric trauma teams to provide optimal care for patients who have experienced traumatic injuries. Speakers address strategies that focus on key priorities and interventions related to pediatric trauma management. This program is tailored for physicians, residents, fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, paramedics, respiratory therapists, social workers, and EMTs. This biennially full-day program is held in September. The next offering is in 2025.
L. William Ferris, MD Memorial Lectureship in Pediatric Urology | October 9, 2024 REGISTER NOW
The L. William Ferris, MD, Memorial Lectureship in Pediatric Urology aims to foster communication between residents, fellows, and the greater urologic community to improve education on evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients. A distinguished visiting professor to invited to lecture on his/her particular area of expertise. It is held the 2nd Wednesday in October annually.
Robert O.Y. Warren, MD Memorial Seminar | November 13, 2024 REGISTER NOW
The Robert O. Y. Warren, MD Memorial Seminar is designed to provide primary care providers with information on pediatric medicine that can be used to improve their clinical practice. It is scheduled for the second Wednesday in November each year.
Neonatal Quality Conference | December 8, 2024 REGISTER NOW
This is a one-day conference focused on quality improvement and patient safety in neonatology. Didactic presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops will showcase best practices in newborn care and will offer a pragmatic approach to using quality methods and tools to improve newborn outcomes. It is hosted annually in conjunction with Hot Topics in Neonatology®.
