Neonatal RNC Review provides a comprehensive and up-to-date review of neonatal intensive care nursing based on the neonatal intensive care exam content outlines. The 2-day RNC-NIC course provides an extensive review of neonatal critical care practice and includes high-risk antepartum/intrapartum maternal factors, physiologic changes during transition to extrauterine life, and plans of care for major neonatal disorders. Participants receive information that will not only promote certification exam success but will also enhance clinical nursing practice.

This educational program is designed to support Emergency Department nurses in understanding and addressing the "second victim" phenomenon—when healthcare providers experience emotional distress following an adverse patient event.

Treating Youth with POTS/Dysautonomia

This presentation will provide an overview of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and dysautonomia, focusing on the symptoms, diagnosis, and management. It will highlight the unique challenges these conditions pose in pediatric patients and share best practices for care. By the end, learners will have a deeper understanding of these disorders and be better equipped to support affected children and their families.

Grief and Mourning: What have we learned since Kubler-Ross

Many of us learned in school about the stages of grief.  Today, several other grief models exist and are touted in the literature.  People often experience grief when a loved one dies, while there are many other losses in life that people grieve.  This session discusses the grief that caregivers experience when their child is diagnosed with a chronic condition and what clinicians can do to help.
