The Pediatric Diabetes Nursing Conference 2025 is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the latest evidence-based updates in the management of Type 1 diabetes. This educational program is particularly tailored to meet the needs of nurses working in diverse care settings, including schools, hospitals, and home healthcare environments. Participants will gain valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance their clinical practice and improve outcomes for pediatric patients living with diabetes.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  •  Explain different methods to achieve and maintain healthy blood sugar levels, including medication, lifestyle changes, and technology
  •  Demonstrate their understanding of the latest diabetes technologies, such as continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), insulin pumps, and automated insulin delivery systems, and how to apply them effectively
  •  Describe when they should be contacting parents and when they should be contacting Nemours Endocrinology for questions, concerns and issues related to a patients diabetes.
