Kathryn (Katie) Russel has worked for Nemours Children's Health for over 3 years providing both inpatient and outpatient diabetes nutrition education to patients and families. She spends about half of her time with endocrinology clinic and the other half of her time in Healthy Weight and Wellness clinic where she also provides nutrition counseling for children with overweight and obesity, including prediabetes. She is currently certified in Tandem and Insulet insulin pumps and is working towards certification of the iLet insulin pump.
