This course focuses on pediatric orthopedic patients and the care that is involved. Speakers from various specialties provide a didactic lecture that serves as an overview, along with some specific details catered to the care of this population.

  • Verbalize the steps of emergent conditions of halo traction.
  • Describe the dressings used for a posterior spinal fusion and how they promote wound healing.
  • Discuss common surgeries performed on children with CP.
