Delaware Coalition for Human Trafficking Survivors Awareness, Prevention, and Action Summit
This continuing professional education program strengthens participants’ awareness and understanding of human trafficking in Delaware and across the nation. Through evidence-based education and multidisciplinary perspectives, participants will explore trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches that reduce barriers and support coordinated prevention, identification, and response.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Explain documented gaps in current human trafficking identification data, including the underrepresentation of male and LGBTQ+ victims in national reporting, and describe the practice implications of these gaps for victim recognition.
- Identify behavioral, physical, and contextual indicators associated with human trafficking victimization, including time awareness, lack of personal security items, branding tattoos, and inconsistencies in account.
- Explain how to re-think one’s relationship with stress, and how to harness beneficial stress responses to connect better with others, achieve goals, and prevent burnout.
- Establish a cross-disciplinary team to support human trafficking survivors.
