MINDBODYSTRONG™ is a cognitive behavioral skills building (CBSB) program that provides a theory-based approach to improve mental health, healthy lifestyle beliefs and behaviors, and job satisfaction in clinicians. Numerous studies have reported that MINDBODYSTRONG™ decreases symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress and job burnout. In order to receive continuing education credit, participants must attend all seven sessions in sequential order.

This presentation will focus on unique conditions in women that present to an emergency department and the importance of timely recognition of potential life-threatening OB/GYN emergencies.

NCHDE Rehab Education: Neurogenic Bowel and Bladder

This regularly scheduled series provides nurses the opportunity to attend a didactic session that discusses and analyzes the latest research, interesting cases, and evidence-based practices related to the specialty care of rehab patients.

Objectives:

      1. Identify the types of neurogenic bowel and bladder.

      2. Discuss the typical patterns seen in TBI patients.

      3. Describe the tools that can be implemented to manage symptoms.
