Empowering Educators, Elevating Excellence

Healthcare Continuing Education Professionals Week is a special time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the vital contributions of continuing education (CE) professionals. This week-long celebration includes various activities and events aimed at honoring these professionals who ensure that healthcare providers stay informed, competent, and capable of delivering the best possible care to their patients.

Join us on Wednesday at noon for our Keynote speaker, Jackie Hunter, NMD, DC, inaugural VP, Health Equity Strategies at the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Institute for Diversity and Health Equity as she delivers a thought-provoking session on diversity and inclusivity in medical education.

Target Audience

All Nemours Children's Health continuing education professionals and anyone with an interest in diversity and inclusivity in healthcare education.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the importance of inclusivity in healthcare education.
  • Foster effective communication across disciplines. 
  • Apply Inclusive practices to real-world healthcare settings:
  • Stimulate real-world scenarios to practice interprofessional collaboration in a variety of environments into team meetings, huddles, etc.
  • Encourage reflection and continuous learning to adapt healthcare practices that reduce disparities and promote health equity.
