Vicarious Trauma and Compassion Fatigue: Self-Care for Adults

Trainers will discuss the impact of supporting bereaved and traumatized young children and their families. The training will also cover the concepts of “use of self,” “vicarious trauma,” and “caregiver fatigue.” Trainers will also discuss how to identify and attend to their own emotions/trauma histories while working with families, as well as strategies for self-care.
