This presentation will focus on pediatric traumatic injuries which includes a case study.  

This presentation will focus on several types of penetrating injuries that present to the emergency department and discuss current American College of Surgeons standards regarding care of these types of injuries.
This Trauma Program presentation discusses and analyzes the latest research, and evidence-based practices related to the topic of social determinants and trauma outcomes in children with a traumatic brain injury.
This presentation covers the basis for the etiology of lightning-mediated injuries; the approach to triage and treatment of victims who are struck by lightning as well as lightning injury prevention strategies.

This case-based regularly scheduled series provides interprofessional clinicians the opportunity to engage in a detailed discussion about a specific patient case in the ED setting.
