Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Explain the indications and contraindications for CRRT in neonates.
- Identify future-proof skills and competencies that will be essential for neonatal nurses to thrive in the evolving healthcare landscape.
- Analyze the clinical presentation and potential long-term consequences of neonatal fentanyl exposure, including both in utero and postnatal exposure.
- Describe the epidemiology, risk factors, and pathophysiology of BPD in infants.
- Differentiate between different stages and severities of BPD, outlining key clinical presentations and diagnostic criteria.
