Protecting Children from Internet Crimes
Internet crimes against children (ICAC) involving sexual abuse and exploitation have escalated significantly, with reports of online enticement, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and AI-generated content soaring in recent years. These crimes, which often occur on gaming sites, social media, and messaging apps, frequently involve grooming by offenders who gain trust before abusing children. Today's guest lecturer is Special Agent Sean Downey of the Delaware Child Predator Task Force.
