NCHFL Core Fellowship Curriculum | Fall 2024
The Core Fellowship Curriculum (CFC) is an interactive simulation program designed for fellows and interprofessional medical providers. Over a span of two hours, participants engage in simulated scenarios aimed at enhancing effective communication with patients, families, and the interprofessional healthcare team. Through immersive experiences, the program equips learners with the skills necessary for collaborative care and patient-centered interactions.
Accreditation:
Each session in this series offers 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credit and 2.0 Nursing Contact Hours from the Florida Board of Nursing.
Hosted In-person:
Attend sessions in the Simulation Lab twice a year.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills that result in the effective exchange of information and collaboration with patients, their families, and health professionals.
2. provide patient care that is patient- and family-centered, compassionate, equitable, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health.
3. care for patients in an environment that maximizes communication and promotes safe, interprofessional, team-based care in the subspecialty and larger health system.
