Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Apply new evidence on ASD in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Differentiate features of ASD and ADHD.
- Recommend appropriate medication management for patients with ASD.
- Identify community-based resources for families pre-and post-evaluation as well as for autistic patients transitioning to adulthood.
- Describe the benefits and applications of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
