ForwardLeslie Gavin, PhD Clinical Psychology
Dr. Gavin received her BA from Stanford University and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. She completed her clinical internship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She began her career at National Jewish Center in Denver, and has been with Nemours Children’s Hospital since 1998. She has over 32 years of experience in psychological assessment and therapy with individuals and families both in hospital and clinic settings. Although Dr. Gavin has experience in assessment and therapy with a broad array of disorders, she has extensive experience in autism. Dr. Gavin assesses children as young as 12 months who may have signs of an autism spectrum disorder. She has worked closely with community partners to provide autism screenings in local communities. She enjoys working with families who are seeking help for children of any age with developmental, learning, and emotional challenges.
