19th Annual Nursing Research Conference: New World Implications for Nursing - AI, Virtual Reality, Digital Health and More!
This is the 19th Annual Nursing Research Conference, brought about through a collaboration between multiple clinical and academic institutions in the Delaware Valley.
This event is being held virtually via Zoom.
Target Audience
Registered nurses at all levels and nursing students.
Members of the organizations represented on the committee/sponsors/faculty(as listed on the agenda) and pre-licensure nursing students can attend at no cost. There is a $15 registration fee for all others.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- identify different types of technology utilized in healthcare and within nursing/healthcare education to support patient care.
- describe the use of artificial intelligence within health care in the process of patient assessment and documentation.
- discuss the rationale for using technology including artificial intelligence, virtual reality and other virtual platforms to learn and practice nursing skills.
- apply the use of technology in different venues to include nursing education, leadership and patient care.
- describe 3 types of technology and determine how one of these can be used within their individual workplace or educational program.
