Deena Brecher MSN, RN, ACNS-BC, CEN, CPEN, FAEN has a passion for patient safety and pediatric care.  She the Chief Nursing Officer at Mednition, an AI company that empowers emergency nurses at triage.  Additionally, she is a per diem AHA instructor at Nemours.

Deena earned a certificate in prehospital emergency care from the Center for Emergency Medicine in 1994.  She earned her BSN from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 and her MSN as an emergency care clinical nurse specialist at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2004.  She has held numerous leadership positions in ENA, most notably serving as ENA National President in 2014.  She was inducted as a fellow in the Academy of Emergency Nursingin 2017.
