I started my career as a respiratory therapist and continued my education at West Chester University to become a nurse.  I completed my masters degree in nursing at the University of Delaware becoming a medical-surgical clinical nurse specialist.  After many years of practice, I returned to Wilmington University to obtain a post-master's certificate as a family nurse practitioner and recently obtained my doctor of nursing practice from Wilmington University as well.  I currently work as a family nurse practitioner at the Center for Special Health Care Needs at ChristianaCare, Wilmington Hospital and in this role care for adults who have pediatric onset chronic disease.  I also coordinate our adult Cystic Fibrosis program as well as the Adult Bleeding disorders program as part of this practice.
