Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  • Identify mechanisms and physiology of gunshot wounds to the head
  • Describe current trends in pediatric gun safety.
  • Explain advocacy and policy efforts around pediatric gun safety
  • Enhance collaborative practice among healthcare professionals by integrating evidence-based strategies into pediatric gun safety practices.
