This is an intensive one day course designed for Emergency Medicine physicians who would like more experience managing pediatric emergency scenarios. We will provide hands on training in critical pediatric emergency skills. This will include pediatric specific airway management techniques and resuscitation procedures. Additionally, attendees will participate in sessions that focus on pediatric trauma, pediatric sedation, and neonatal and pediatric respiratory emergencies. Using high fidelity simulation, this course will also focus on the crisis resource management skills needed to successfully manage a critically ill pediatric patient.
