Whole Blood: Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other - DENA Chapter Meeting
This virtual continuing education program, jointly provided with the Delaware Emergency Nurses Association
explores the use of whole blood in comparison to component therapy during massive transfusion. Learners will review the potential benefits of whole blood and examine factors that influence its quality and clinical effectiveness.
The session supports clinical decision-making in fast-paced trauma and emergency settings, helping nurses apply evidence-based transfusion practices at the bedside.
