2024 HPV Elimination Leading Progress Statewide (HELPS) Annual Summit
The summit aims to promote evidence-based and patient-centered practices to eliminate HPV Related cancers, to raise awareness about the continued importance of HPV vaccination and screening, and to contribute to national and global efforts to reduce the burden of HPV related cancers.
- Facilitate collaboration and networking among researchers, clinicians, public health professionals, patient advocates, and other stakeholders to collectively, address barriers and challenges to HPV vaccination and cancer screening.
- Review progress in achieving elimination of HPV-related cancers in the state.
- Recommend best practices to implement HPV-related cancer prevention to communities to reduce the burden of HPV related cancers in Florida.
This hybrid event is being held in-person in the Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida auditorium. This program can also be attended via Microsoft TEAMS.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Discuss current changes, trends, and data in HPV vaccination and cervical cancer screening in Florida.
- Identify opportunities to reduce barriers & challenges in HPV vaccination initiation and screening.
- Outline current initiatives implemented to support the elimination of HPV-related cancers.
- Strategize the application of evidence-based practices in various settings with the goal of increasing HPV-related cancer prevention methods (vaccination and screening)
