Mariana Arevalo is currently an Applied Research Scientist at Moffitt Cancer Center. She earned a doctoral degree in Health Behavior from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She earned a bachelor’s in psychology and master’s in science in public health degrees from the University of South Florida. Her broad research interests include delivery of high-quality cancer-related care for medically underserved populations, reducing cancer health disparities among racial and ethnic groups, and increasing participation of diverse groups in biomedical and clinical trials research.
