Series Summary:

Join your Nemours colleagues in a quarterly educational series that addresses topics most relevant to the precepting of new associates, new graduates and practicum students. This interprofessional activity invites effective speakers to interact with the team in an informal discussion on topics relevant to the preceptor such as role modeling, legal liabilities, rewards and challenges and producing problem solvers. Pack your lunch, immerse in the camaraderie, and enjoy the music during the engaging discussions with subject matter experts and other preceptors. 

Target Audience:

RN, RT, PCT, MA, EMT-P, and other Nemours associates who precept new associates or students

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to: 

  • Describe common challenges of the role of a preceptor.
  • Apply session topics to personal practice.
  • Discuss topics that are relevant to the experiences of a preceptor.
