Maria Golden, PhD, NCSP

Maria E. Golden is a pediatric psychologist who values research, clinical practice, and training in integrated primary care with the goals to increase equitable access to quality care. She initially studied School Psychology at Millersville University and completed a school psychology internship with the School District of Philadelphia. She later completed her doctorate at Lehigh University in Pediatric School Psychology and pre-doctoral internship at Geisinger Medical Center in Clinical and Pediatric Psychology. She stayed on at Geisinger for her post-doctoral fellowship in integrated primary care and sleep.
She is passionate about increasing access to care and currently works as an attending psychologist within the Healthy Minds, Healthy Kids Program (HMHK, integrating behavioral health into pediatric primary care. In her clinical role, she works with the full range of pediatric patients on typical mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotion regulation) and pediatric health concerns (e.g., sleep, adherence, toileting, eating and feeding, and shot administration). She also supervises psychology interns and fellows in integrated primary care (IPC).
