May Yuan, PhD is currently a postdoctoral psychology fellow at Montefiore Medical Group’s pediatric Behavioral Health Integration Program (BHIP) team. Dr. Yuan obtained her PhD in clinical psychology at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. As a HealthySteps specialist, she delivers supportive guidance and skills training to parents of infants and toddlers. She also plays an active role in an interdisciplinary initiative that connects the OB/GYN and pediatric departments at her current site. She is passionate about education and training, and is committed to promoting evidence-based interventions that support the social-emotional development of children and adolescents.
