Meghan Kanya, PhD (she/her) is a licensed psychologist at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Kanya has always found passion and meaning in empowering and amplifying underrepresented voices and experiences and breaking down barriers, regardless of the context. Her current clinical and scholarly work focuses on the intersection of social determinants of health and mental health, including promoting and maintaining strong ties to community engagement and advocacy work. Within Dr. Kanya's current role at Phoenix Children's, she is supporting the integration of psychology into primary care settings and further development of behavioral health resources for community members.
