Dr. Nyla Rogers is a Licensed Psychologist in the Division of Developmental & Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UMKC School of Medicine.  She specializes in providing integrated behavioral health services in the Pediatric Care Clinic (PCC). Dr. Rogers is passionate about engaging in culturally responsive trauma-informed care and addressing various social determinants of health and their impact on psychological wellbeing and behavioral healthcare access for marginalized communities.

She graduated with her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Howard University. She completed her internship at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and postdoctoral fellowship there as well with an emphasis on adverse experiences and underserved populations.
