Leslee T. Belzer, Ph.D. is a Pediatric Psychologist at Children's Mercy Kansas City’s and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UMKC School of Medicine. Her specialty is Integrated Complex Care; The breadth and depth of her psychological expertise allows the most complex patients as well as their family members, continuity of care to be served in one place, by the same providers. She is Psychology Director for Integrated Primary Care and is a faculty leader for the Beacon Program Patient Family Advisory Council. She leads and is the primary supervisor for pre- and -post-doctoral psychology residents in Complex Care Psychology and Integrated Primary Care each academic year, serving patients across four large metropolitan primary care clinics. Her co-authored research focuses on bi-directional program development in real-world settings that advance behavioral healthcare access, equity, and quality for our most vulnerable medical patients and working together to mitigate persistent structural barriers.
