Colleen Cullinan, PhD
Dr. Colleen Cullinan is a licensed pediatric psychologist and an Associate Professor within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (CAPBS) at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). In her current role at UCSF’s Benioff Children’s Hospital, Dr. Cullinan builds on her passion for supporting integrated behavioral health care programs in pediatric medical and other community-based settings. Across the years, Dr. Cullinan has mentored, supervised, and trained many aspiring psychologists and medical professionals. She is a co-founder and co-chair of the DREAM IPC Conference, a national biennial conference that focuses on pediatric integrated care. Dr. Cullinan has been a leader in cultural humility education and training and is co-creator of an experiential cultural humility curriculum that has been utilized by various medical, mental health, and educational professionals. Dr. Cullinan currently serves as on the executive board of the Society for Pediatric Psychology (SPP) and was previously an American Psychological Association conference program chair. She is the honored recipient of several awards including the 2021-22 Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) Biennial Award for Excellence in Diversity Training and UCSF’s 2025 Ida M. Cannon Award for Competence.
