Nancy Lennon, BS, MS, DPT
Nancy Lennon, a physical therapist, is the manager of the Cerebral Palsy (CP) program at Nemours Children Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. She has 35 years of experience at Nemours, including work in gait analysis, rehabilitation, clinical research, program development, family engagement, community outreach, and professional education. She has authored 42 peer-revied papers and co-edited the second edition text Cerebral Palsy (2020). Her research in youth with CP includes evaluation of gait outcomes after orthopedic surgery, exercise testing, and physical activity evaluation. Her current work will identify characteristics of physical therapy associated with optimal surgical outcomes in youth with CP. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM), and Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society (GCMAS) where she regularly presents scientific work. She has degrees from the University of Delaware, Hahnemann University, and Shenandoah University.
