Shannon Chan, PharmD and Mathew Mason, PharmD explain how to apply up to date best practices on antimicrobial prescribing consistent with the principle of antimicrobial stewardship. Shannon Chan, PharmD joined Nemours Children's Hospital, DE in 2003 and has since implemented the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. She currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy Clinical Operations. Mathew Mason, PharmD is an infectious disease pharmacist and the co-director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware since November 2022. This lecture was recorded at the 2023 Pediatric Pharmacology Update on October 6, 2023.
