Communication and Optimal Resolution (CANDOR) Training
Join us for exciting morning of training related to Communication and Resolution (CANDOR) and how Nemours is planning on operationalizing a process that comprehensively responds to suspected or known serious harm to patients or associates.
Target Audience
Physicians, Nurses, and Psychologists
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Explain CANDOR and the workflow at Nemours.
- Demonstrate what empathic communication is and a basic skill set to use and practice in everyday situations and when serious harm occurs.
- Apply various levels of associate support to include peer support to team members affected by harm events.
Team Based Learning Objective:
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of various team members supporting clinical operations and those involved in providing care when serious harm occurs.
