Amanda Lochrie, PhD, ABPP, is a board-certified pediatric psychologist with experience in the treatment of children with chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes and pain management. She joined Nemours in 2003 and became the Chief of the Division of Psychology at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville in 2014. She is an Assistant Professor at Mayo College of Medicine, Jacksonville campus. She is currently the Interim Chair for the Department of Pediatrics. She is the co-director of the ADAPT Program, which provides Animal Assisted Therapy and the Medical Director for PATH, a program providing rapid access to mental health care in Florida. Dr. Lochrie earned her doctorate from the Clinical Child Psychology Program at the University of Kansas. She followed this with an internship in clinical child/pediatric psychology at the University of Florida Health Science Center and a postdoctoral fellowship at Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Jacksonville. Dr. Lochrie is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in child and adolescent psychology. She is also a current graduate student at the University of Massachusetts @ Amherst earning her MBA (expected May 2025).
