Stephanie is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Nemours Center for Healthcare Delivery Science. She completed her PhD in Applied Psychology and Prevention Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where her work encompassed psychosocial factors that influence health outcomes among children and adolescents/young adults. Stephanie’s research focuses on pediatric chronic conditions, including chronic pain and Type 1 Diabetes, and the influence of individuals within a child’s immediate circle (caregivers, families, healthcare providers). Specifically, she is interested in how those individuals influence mental and physical health outcomes, such as quality of life, adherence, and mental health, in youth and highlighting strengths-based approaches to improve outcomes among youth with chronic health conditions.
