Vanessa M Thompson, PhD is the Manager, Research Biostatistics Core within the Biomedical Research Informatics Center (BRIC). With a PhD in Quantitative Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Thompson spent over ten years working in healthcare analytics in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care at the American College of Surgeons before joining Nemours in June of 2025. Dr. Thompson has been involved in research spanning across mental health, education, attitudes and preferences, and healthcare fields with numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national conferences.
