Narendra Dereddy, MBBS, MD
Dr. Narendra Dereddy is board certified in both Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and General Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He served as a faculty member in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, Memphis, and an attending Neonatologist at the LeBonheur Children's Hospital from 2012-2017. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Department of Pediatrics, AdventHealth, Medical Director of Neonatology at AdventHealth for Children and the Neonatal Transport Medical Director. He is also a board member for Florida Birth-related Neurological Injury Compensation Association (NICA). Dr. Dereddy's academic interests include Neonatal nutrition, post-hemorrhagic hydrocephalus, Point of Care Ultrasound and Targeted neonatal echocardiogram. He is also interested in Quality Improvement and leads several QI initiatives in the NICU. He has over 25 peer-reviewed publications in neonatal clinical research and was the primary investigator on several randomized clinical trials.
