Alexa Turpin is a current research fellow in the Department of Surgery at Nemours Children's Health. Her focus is on outcomes research in many different areas of pediatric surgery including trauma, as well quality improvement initiatives. She graduated from Cornell University with bachelor's degree in biological sciences and attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine for medical school. She completed three years of general surgery training at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center.
