I have been an LPN for six years and the last 3 of those years have been spent at Nemours as a care coordinator addressing needs of all kinds. I possess a bachelor's degree in psychology with a concentration in child development and am currently halfway through an LPN to RN bridge program, set to graduate with Honors. Prior to becoming an LPN, I was an EMT for 8 years. The last three years of my career in EMS were spent completing interfacility transports for preemies and neonates requiring a higher acuity of care than the hospital they were born in could provide. Once I complete my RN program, I plan to obtain a BSN to enter forensic nursing.
