Cerise Morey, BSN, RN, CPON received her BSN from the Neuman University in 1990.  She has been with Nemours since 2003 and has served in various leadership roles. 

Prior to her transition to 5 West Clinical Operations Leader, (formerly Patient Flow Supervisor), in 2015, Cerise was a Nurse Clinician Level III and frequently served in the charge nurse role.  She represents nursing as a member of the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorder’s Chemotherapy Safety Committee and the 3East Falls Prevention Committee.  

Cerise has been an active member of the Association of Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurses (APHON) as both a national and local chapter member for the past 12 years and she achieved and maintains her certification as a Certified Pediatric Oncology Nurse (CPON).  

Cerise has been involved with Nursing Shared Governance at Nemours, serving as the 3CN Shared Governance Representative and Nursing Informatics Representative.  She has also served as Nurse Management Council Chair. 

The FERGIE Huddle was born out of a need to ensure that our patients and families feel well prepared after a new hematology/oncology diagnosis to care for their child at home.
