My name is Lindsay Adams, I am currently a National Registered Emergency Medical Technician, and certified Firefighter, and certified Fire and EMS instructor that is pursing an associates degree in Nursing from Delaware Technical Community College Owens Campus. I work full time for a local level III trauma center as a Trauma Data Collection Specialist. I am nearing the end of my undergraduate degree with anticipation to graduate this December and plan to stay with my employer but transition to a role as an RN in the ICU. I come from long family lines of dedicated health care workers, including my mom who has been with a local hospital system for 40+ years with 20 of those years dedicated in the Emergency Room as a unit clerk, and my father who has been a dedicated Firefighter/EMT and Fire instructor for 40+ years. I have a passion and drive to help and serve my communities. I am extremely excited to be able to present at this conference, and excited to present on the topic that is very near and dear to my heart, mental health and well-being.
