Beatrice Ochieng, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FNP-C is a dedicated advanced practice nurse in the field of family health and specializes in the geriatric’s population. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University. Her clinical expertise includes evidence-based practice implementation, diagnostic reasoning, and interdisciplinary team leadership. Dr. Ochieng's DNP project focused on screening older adults in the community for frailty and referring them to a program that would bring medical care to their homes. This demonstrated her commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Dr. Ochieng is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has worked to bring care to older adults who needs it the most.  Prior to advanced practice, she worked as a Hospice and Palliative Registered Nurse where she provided medical and emotional support to terminally ill patients and their families, and focused on comfort and quality of life for her patients.  She seeks to leverage her experience to working with the elderly population and ensure they have the medical care that they need.
