Briana Abernathy, BSN, RN, CEN is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at the University of Delaware. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science and an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from the University of Delaware. Briana is an inaugural fellow in the Nursing Research Fellowship in Robotics and Innovation at ChristianaCare, where she deeply engaged in advancing nursing practice through emerging technologies. Her clinical experience includes trauma and emergency nursing. She has served on ChristianaCare’s Technology and Innovation Systemwide Council and currently holds active membership on the Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Systemwide Council, as well as in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
