Joanna Dixon serves as a Lead Clinical Nurse Educator at Main Line Health, an integrated health care system in suburban Philadelphia.  Joanna is certified in nursing professional development (NPD-BC) and as an advanced nurse executive (NEA-BC).  She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Nurse Residency Collaborative, a priority initiative of the Pennsylvania Nursing Workforce Coalition intended to support new graduate nurses.  Joanna has published in the Journal for Nurses in Professional Development regarding leadership experiences for Master’s-prepared bedside nurses through facilitator roles in the Nurse Residency Program.  She has also presented podium and poster presentations at a variety of conferences on topics such as leadership strategies for employee engagement, stay interviews for staff retention, and tools for evidence-based project success.
