Valerie Baich, DNP, MSN, RN, CNE, CDP
Dr. Valerie Baich, DNP, MSN, RN, CNE, CDP, is a dedicated nursing educator with over nine years of faculty experience at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing. She specializes in teaching Mental Health Nursing and Neurological Nursing and serves as Course Coordinator for both semesters, guiding curriculum development and student learning outcomes.
Dr. Baich earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Nursing Education in 2022. Her doctoral capstone focused on addressing student test anxiety through the implementation of mindfulness strategies—reflecting her commitment to both academic excellence and student well-being.
She holds national certifications as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), underscoring her expertise in both nursing education and dementia care. An active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the National League for Nursing, and the Golden Key International Honour Society, Dr. Baich is deeply engaged in advancing nursing education and mental health awareness.
Her professional interests include mindfulness in nursing education, cognitive wellness, and the development of innovative teaching strategies to support diverse learners in clinical and classroom settings.
