Chrissy Campo, MA

Christine (Chrissy) Campo is a passionate researcher, mental health professional, child abuse survivor, and advocate for children's rights. With a B.S. in Applied Psychology (NYU 2013) and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling (NYU 2015), her career began in early childhood research with focus on school-based programming and social emotional learning for young children and their caregivers. After years spent studying and supporting families, Chrissy became acutely aware of the negative impacts of unhealed intergenerational trauma. This experience, along with her passion for evidence-based modalities led her to open Suncatcher Wellness LLC which offers affordable group-based services for adult survivors of child abuse and loved ones of those struggling with personality disorders. Chrissy is a group therapist for a nationally accredited intensive outpatient program (IOP) and is an adjunct instructor for undergraduates in the Department of Applied Psychology at NYU. She also volunteers as a support group facilitator and intake counselor for Munchausen Support.
