I am a 16 year old high school student, finishing up my sophomore year in Monroe Township NJ,  I am the oldest of three girls.  I have two seven year old mini goldendoodles and six chickens.  I love to dance and perform in musicals on stage.  I am an avid reader and enjoy writing. I was diagnosed with Beta Thalassemia Major at the age of seven and a half months old.  I receive blood transfusions every three weeks at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  I take Jadenu, an iron chelator, to remove the excess iron build up from chronic transfusion.
