Julia Greco is a child life specialist at Nemours Children's Hospital. Julia sees the inpatient oncology population, providing developmentally appropriate diagnosis education, procedural preparation and support, coping support, sibling education, and opportunities for normalization among other child life services. Julia received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State in 2020, and an M.S. in Child Life Studies at Missouri State University in 2022. Julia has worked at Nemours for 3 years, with her first 2 years on the inpatient trauma, solid organ transplant, med/surg and trach/vent unit. She has worked with the inpatient oncology population for the past year and appreciates the crucial nature of interdisciplinary collaboration to promote family-centered care and psychosocial support.
