I currently function as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the NCH PICU where I have worked since 2019.  Prior to that I worked as a pediatric/neonatal transport nurse.  My passion is working with critically ill pediatric patients.  I love their resilience and constant positive outlook despite being ill.  I also enjoy the teaching component that is so vital in my role in the PICU.  I have been the co/director of the PFCCS program at Nemours since 2021.  I love how relevant the topics we teach in this class are to all areas of pediatric medicine and feel a great amount of pride and fulfillment when I see topics taught in PFCCS being applied in the clinical setting.
